Joyce was a business teacher employed by the Dallas Independent School District for 37 years. Joyce served many years at South Oak Cliff High School and would have retired this year from Hillcrest High School. A seasoned traveler, Joyce roams extensively across the United Sates and the world to London, Paris, Spain, and Madrid. She was always open to a new adventure. The Lord called Joyce home for the ultimate retirement.
Joyce is survived by: her mother, Ms. Berniece Brown; daughter, Mrs. Miransheka Williams (Kevin); sisters, Tommie Faye Brown, Sandra Mays, Cynthia Mason (deceased), and Stacey Brown; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and church family.
