Mrs. Kitchens, a native of Attala County, MS; died Feb 20, 2001, at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, MS; following an illness of several days.

She was a member of Greater Hope Baptist Church at Weir, MS.

She leaves three daughters, Mrs. Patsy A. Payton, Mrs. Retha Alston Cross, and Mrs. Suzanna Simmons of Kosciusko, MS; three sons, Willie D. Rimmer, Vira E. Alston of Kosciusko, MS; and Tommy Lee Rimmer; two sisters, Mrs. Ruby Montgomery and Emily Rimmer of Kosciusko, MS; two brothers, John B. Rimmer and J. D. Rimmer of Kosciusko, MS; 14 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Burial was in Brooks Cemetery.
Rev. T. J. Calhoun officiated.
Pallbearers were Clyde Simmons, Paul Rimmer, Willie D. Rimmer,
Jerry Cross, George Rimmer, and James Payton.
