Geo Addie Killed in Auto Accident
George Addie was fatally injured in an auto accident near Superior Saturday afternoon when the auto in which he was riding turned over several times. Funeral Director Henry Cottone was called and brought the remains to the Jacobson Funeral Home, where services were held Tuesday afternoon, Rev Homer Joonson officiating
Robert George Addie was born near Cresco, Iowa, on July 11, 1877, where he lived until 1884, when the family moved to Northville, S Dak. In 1902 the family moved to Cumberland, where his parents lived until their deaths in 1920 and 1921.
On May 9, 1914 George was married to Miss Clara Johnson at Stillwater, Minn. They lived in Barron county since that time. He leaves to mourn his loss his widow, Clara, two brothers, John W Addie, of Armour, S Dak, and James E Addie of Hastings, Neb, a niece and two nephews besides many friends.
Mr Addie's brothers, John W and James E were in attendance at the funeral.
