BENTON, Ky.--Polly Watkins, 89, of Benton died at 3:45 a.m. Tuesday at her home.
Mrs. Watkins was the former owner of Watkins Market. She was a member of Olive United Methodist Church and a was 50-year member of Modern Woodmen of America.
She is survived by one daughter, Zella Rowe of Benton; one son, Joe Watkins of Covington, Ga.; one brother, Billy Holt of Benton; a sister, Charlene Holt of Benton; three grandchildren, Ashley Rowe, Chad Rowe and Stacy Rowe, all of Benton; and three great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Watkins was preceded in death by her husband, Connie E. Watkins, and one sister. Her parents were Lake and Irena Beggs Holt.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Collier Funeral Home in Benton with the Rev. Gary Elrod and the Rev. Dean Emerson officiating. Burial will be in Maple Springs Cemetery.
