Services for Nina E. Thompson Vance, 93, of Paducah will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 8, 2004, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with the Rev. Richard Beck officiating. Burial will be in Sunny Slope Cemetery. Mrs. Vance died at 6:10 p.m. Monday, July 5, 2004, at Medco Center of Paducah.
She was a member of Highland Baptist Church and was a former employee of Gilliam Candy Company.
Surviving are a daughter, Dorothy Housman of Benton; a sister, Christene Campbell of Paducah; six grandchildren, Kay Wallace of Benton, Debbie Hall, Sandra Hall and Randy Bennett, all of Paducah, and Natalie Neeble and Tammy Quertermous, both of Daytona, Fla.; nine great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Vance; a son, Robert Earl Vance; a daughter, Shirley Bennett; a sister; six brothers; and two grandchildren. Her parents were Wesley Clayton and Bennie Ann Cope Thompson.
