Born April 26, 1908, in Wyoming, Ill., to Dr. Robert and Nelle Wrigley King, she married Morrow "Skeet" Cox on May 30, 1942. He survives.
Also surviving are several cousins.
A 1930 Bradley University graduate, she taught in Wyoming schools, and she and her husband owned and operated Cox Memorial Home in Wyoming for many years before retiring.
She was a member of the Chi Omega sorority and an honorary member of the Tuesday Club in Wyoming.
She also was a member of the Wyoming Congregational United Church of Christ.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at her church, the Rev. Terri Akkerman officiating. Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m.
Tuesday at Wyoming Funeral Home in Wyoming. Burial will be in the Wyoming Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
