KOPF

Henry August Kopf was born in Germany, December 16, 1864, and baptized on December 21 of the same year. At the age of 14 years, he confirmed his Baptismal Vow. As a lad of 16 he immigrated to this country.

On December 19, 1889 he was united in marriage with Anna K. Koke. To this union eight children were born, two of whom died in infancy.

Mr. Kopf departed this life last Saturday, April 15, 1944, at the age of 79 years, 3 months and 30 days.

He leaves to mourn his departure his widow, Mrs. Anna Kopf, and the following children: Mrs. Lena Beckman, of Havana; Mrs. Margaret Hagan, of Easton; Mrs. Lillian Ruh, of Jacksonville; Mrs. Clara Daly, of Bluffs; Mrs. Emma Heidbreder of Lincoln; and Henry Kopf of Charleston, SC.

Also one aunt, Mrs. Dora Glick of Chandlerville; 23 grandchildren, two of whom serve in the armed forces of our country and 2 great-grandchildren, besides other relatives and friends.

Last services in his memory were held from St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church in Havana on Wednesday, April 19, 1944 at 2:30 p.m. in charge of Rev. H. Frey.

Special sacred music was rendered by Miss Mabel Pfeiffer and Mrs. Edna Glick accompanied by Mrs. Alma Emme at the organ.

Burial was in Laurel Hill Cemetery in Havana, IL.
