HAVANA - Leana K. Beckman, 92, of RR 1, died at 2 p.m.
Saturday in Mason District Hospital.
Born August 11, 1890, in Havana, she was the daughter of August and Anna Koke Kopf. She married Christian H. Beckman February 6. 1932, in Poplar City. He died September 13, 1952.
Surviving are three sisters, Lillian Ruh of Jacksonville, Clara Aring of San Jose, CA, and Emma Heidbreder of Lincoln and one brother, Henry Kopf of Santa Anna, CA.
She was preceded in death by her husband, one son and one sister.
She was a member of St. Paul's Church and the Ladies Aid Society.
Services will be 3 p.m. tomorrow at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Havana. The Rev. Melvin Weseloh will officiate. Burial will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 tonight at Hurley Funeral Home.
