Son of Squire Boone and Ann White.

He first married in 1796, in Carter Co., TN, to Elizabeth "Betsy" Webber, the oldest daughter of Capt. Will Webber.

They resided in Wayne Co., KY, with brothers, Jesse and Daniel. Elizabeth died in 1827, in Wayne Co., KY,

After Elizabeth died, Israel and all of his children migrated with his mother, Ann Boone, to Jackson Co., MO, where Israel second married Betty Oldham in 1829, at Fort Osage in Jackson Co., MO. Her identity is currently unknown.
