The daughter of John Franklin Strayhan and Fannie Jane Patterson Strayhan. Little Sallie was accidentally shot and killed at the age of 6 months. Her older sister, Mary and brother James (aged 4 and 2 respectively) were also accidentally shot and killed on August 8, 1880.
