"Mrs. Augusta Bernstein, aged 80, of Worcester, died Saturday September 13, at the Eden Park Nursing Home in Cobleskill, where she had been a patient for two months. Mrs. Bernstein was born on March 12, 1889, in Richmondville, the daughter of Mervin and Hattie (Clark) Brooker. She was married to Austin Wayman in 1907. He died in 1947. She was married to Allen Bernstein in 1951. Surviving are her husband; one son, Donald A. Wayman of Cobleskill; one daughter, Mrs. Bernard Derenthal of Lake George; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services were held at 2 p. m. on Tuesday, September 16, from the Skinner Funeral Home in Worcester, with the Rev. George Silburn, pastor of the Second Baptist Church of Worcester, officiating. Burial was in the Rural Cemetery, Richmondville."
