George Klingler

ADA - Services for George Klingler, 87, of Route 2, will be at 2:30 p.m. Monday in the First Methodist Church. The Rev. George Wilson, pastor of the Kenton Methodist Church, and the Rev. E. F. Eshelman, pastor of the local church, will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery here.

Mr. Klingler died at 8:45 a.m. Friday in his home from complications. He had been ill only a short time.

A retired farmer, he was born June 6, 1867, in Hardin County, and was a member of the Methodist Church. He was married to Bessie Beagle in 1893, and she died in 1937. In 1945 he married Laura Rice, who survives.

Also surviving are three sons, Chauncey, Route 2; Amos, Bluffton; Raymond, Lima; two daughters, Mrs. Gladys Shuster, Route 2; Mrs. Elizabeth Routson, Mansfield; 15 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; three brothers, John, Paulding; Isaiah, Route 2; Lewis, Ada, and a sister, Mrs. Clara Clum, Ada.

The body will be removed from the Lantz Funeral Home to the church at 1:30 p.m. Monday to remain for services. Friends may call at the funeral home after 1 p.m. Saturday.
