Warren Tribune Chronicle, January 31, 1984: Isabelle Higgins, 68, died Monday of complications. Mrs. Higgins was born September 9, 1915 in Hobbs, IN, daughter of Clarence and Joanna Wagner Leavell. A resident of Warren for 50 years, Mrs. Higgins was a clerk and head cashier for Kroger Co. for 25 years, retiring 10 years ago. She was a member of Tod Avenue United Methodist Church, Women's Society and Nixon Sunday School Class. Survivors include her husband, Lyle Higgins, whom she married November 24, 1935; a son, Roger G of Canton; and a granddaughter. A brother, Fred Leavell, preceded her in death. Funeral services will be Thursday at Carl Hall Funeral Home. Burial will be in Pineview Memorial Park.
