Henry L. Gartman, 84 of 1010 Glenn St., West Columbia died early yesterday morning at his home. Mr. Gartman was born in Lexington County and has lived in West Columbia for 35 years. He was a retired textile worker. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Bessie N. Keisler Gartman; two daughters, Mrs. Lila Hook and Mrs. Mattie Dye, both of West Columbia; three sons, Elton Gartman and James Gartman, both of Columbia, and Herman Gartman of Dearborn, Mich; a brother Benjamin Gartman of West Columbia; 11 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. The body will be taken to his residence at 10 o'clock this morning. Funeral services will be held at 3 o'clock Friday afternoon at the Thompson Funeral Home conducted by the Rev. John Moose, the Rev. C. E. Seastrunk and the Rev. J. V. Long. Interment will follow at Gibson Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be eight nephews; Henry Roof, Clinton Roof, Henson Roof, Melvin Roof, Horace Keisler, Kenneth Keisler, Bud Keisler and Carl Smith. Honorary pallbearers will be Raymond Shull, Ray Taylor, Ray Kyzer, Elbert Kyzer, Clarence Rikard, Ralph Smith, Dr. T. C. Whetsell, Dr. J. F. Woods, Dr. R. G. Latimer, Dr. F. L. Clark, W. H. "Cap" Hook, Carl Cooper , J. C.
