Virginia "Diddy" Renwick, 85, a resident at Presbyterian Home of the Moshannon Valley, formerly of Sandy Ridge, died Tuesday, March 7, 2000, at the home.
Born Sept. 26, 1914, in Sandy Ridge, she was a daughter of the late Ira and Mary Jane Brenner Vaughn.
On Dec. 23, 1936, in Philipsburg, she married Lawson "Bun" Renwick, who died June 3, 1988.
She was retired from the former W.T. Grant Co. in Philipsburg.
She was a member of Faith United Methodist Church, the Dorcas Circle of the church, and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Mountaintop Fire Co., all in Sandy Ridge.
She enjoyed reading, bingo and music.
She is survived by a daughter, Sarah Curtis of Osceola Mills; a son, Vaughn M. of Clinton, S.C.; seven grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. A sister preceded her in death.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at Heath Funeral Home, 701 Lingle St., Osceola Mills.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with Pastor Randy Hughes officiating.
Burial will be in Blair Memorial Park, Bellwood.
