A native of Carter County, she was a daughter of the late Gurnie and Loya Miller Pearson. She attended Elk Mills Elementary School and graduated from Hampton High School. Prior to her illness she was employed as a Caregiver.
Margaret had lived in Hamilton, Georgia, for 15 years before moving to Jonesborough.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister: Betty Pearson.
Survivors include a daughter: Allison Isaacs and her husband, Tommy Isaacs II, Watauga; A Son: Bradley Marlow, Elizabethton; A Brother: Gurnie Pearson Jr., Abingdon, Virginia; A Sister: Dorothy Whitehead, Elizabethton; Her Companion: Clay Whittington; Three Nephews; One Great Nephew; Three Uncles: Burl Miller, Earl Miller and Homer Miller.
A Memorial Service will be conducted at 7 p.m. Thursday in Memorial Funeral Chapel with Mr. Tommy Foster officiating.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home. Music will be provided by the Upper Gap Creek Trio.
Friends may also call at the residence of her daughter & son-in-law: Allison and Tommy Isaacs, 384 Old Watauga Road, Watauga.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, ℅ Lou Cooter, 415 Washington Avenue, Elizabethton, Tenn. 37643.
It was her wish to be cremated.
