ATTACK OF INFLUENZA HASTENS DEATH
Funeral service for Louis Edwinson, 83, who past away Monday, Sept 15, at his home in Navarino, were held at the Norwegian Lutheran Church Thursday afternoon. Mr. Edwinson was born in Hedmarken, Norway on September 4, 1847 he came to America in 1872 and made his home in Winchester for a year when he moved to Navarino. On May 1877 he was united in marriage in Shiocton. For the last 25 years Mr. Edwinson has been in poor health suffering from rheumatism. An attack of influenza with the weakness of old age hastened his death.
Besides his wife, the deceased in survived by four childen, Olaf, a cheese maker at Dodgeville, Mrs Caspara Nelson, Martha and Adolph at home.
The church was filled with friends and relatives at the funeral of Mr. Edwinson. Mr. Edwinson will long be remembered by his many friends and the people of this community for his kindness and good will he showed unto all.
