Inscription

I am fading away to the land of the blest;
Like the last lingering hues of the even;
Reclining my head on my kind angel's breast,
I soar to my own native heaven.
My warfare is finished, the battle is won,
To a crown and a throne I aspire.
My coursers are brighter than steed of the sun
I mount in a chariot of fire.
Adieu.

This stone was erected by T. W. Dyas as a tribute
of respect and token of sincere affection for her
Who sleeps beneath this pile and to whom he was
soon to have been united in the holy estate of matrimony.
Accept a tear tis all that I can give
Thy memory ever in my head shall be.
Farewell. T. R. Reding.
