MRS. CAROLINE GARCIA
Mrs. Caroline Garcia, 72 of 3620 Maple Ave., Fairmont City, died at 10:03 a.m. Saturday at Bethesda Hospital, St. Louis where she had been a patient for two weeks. She had been ill a year.
Mrs. Garcia was the widow of Genero Garcia, a foundry worker at American Zinc Co., who died in 1962. Born in Spain, she had lived in the United States 52 years, 36 of them in Fairmont City.
Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Holy Rosary Church, with burial in Mt. Hope Cemetery, St. Louis.
Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at Kassly Chapel in East St. Louis.
Surviving Mrs. Garcia are three daughter Mrs. Walter (Caroline) Lechner and Miss Jean Garcia of St. Louis and Mrs. Norman (Josephine) Halbe of Granite City; a sister Mrs. Elvira Vallina of Langeloth, Pa., three grandchildren and one great-granchild.

Note: Caroline Fernandez Garcia is the sister of Eloina Fernandez Martinez interment in Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Belleville, IL.
