Frank A. Korb

Frank A. Korb, 81, formerly of Clover Drive, died yesterday at the home of his son, C. Adam Korb of Onondaga Hill, after a long illness. Mr. Korb was born in Buffalo and resided in Syracuse for over 75 years. He was employed by the New York Central Railroad for 53 years. as a brakeman, retiring in 1962. Mr. Korb was also a member of the Eastwood Baptist Church. Surviving are two sons, C. Adam Korb of Onondaga Hill and R. L. Korb of North Syracuse; a daughter, Mrs. Fred Keehfus; a brother, Edward Korb; three sisters, Mrs. Clyde Fargo of East Syracuse, Mrs. Louise Stoetzel and Mrs. Earl Fults; seven grandchildren and several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Goddard and Crandall Funeral Home, with the Rev. Ronald Valet, pastor of the Eastwood Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Calling hours are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow.
