MSG Smith served 26 years in the US Army. While serving in Viet Nam he was exposed to Agent Orange and thus developed Cancer and had part of his left lung removed. There was no more cancer, but this led to respiratory problems that eventually caused his death. He had several brothers and sisters and his parents were Joseph and Ethel (McCracken) Smith. He leaves behind his wife Sandra, 8 children, 12 grandchildren and 1 great grandson. He was a very giving man and loved his family. We miss him very much.
