Deceased Name: MAY S. TEACHOUT

May S. Teachout, 100, a former resident of LeMoyne Avenue, died Tuesday at Hill Haven Nursing Home.

A native of Charlotte, Mrs. Teachout lived in the Syracuse area several years. She retired as a supervisor from the New York Telephone Co.

Mrs. Teachout was one of the oldest members of Westminster Presbyterian Church, where she was a deacon and an officer of the church's Circle C. She was the oldest member of Charlotte Chapter 507, OES.

Surviving are two sons, Almon of Syracuse and Roger S. of Manchester, Maine; a daughter, B. Elizabeth Madison of Fayetteville; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a niece; and several cousins.

Services will be at noon Friday at Frasier-Shepardson Funeral Home, the Rev. Paul Connine officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Warners.

Calling hours will be 11 a.m. to noon Friday at the funeral home, 1217 N. Salina St.

Contributions may be made to the Almon Teachout Clock Fund of the Westminster Presbyterian Church.
