Son of John and Eliza Loman. He entered the service at East Galesburg on April 30 1918. He was a Private in Co K 140th Infantry. He went to Camp Dodge the transfered to Camp Travis Texas. Then to New York then to France where he was gassed at St.Mihiel,in Argnnsector Nov. 1918. Discharged April 15 1919. He was married to Gertrude they had two daughters Alice, and Dorothy.
