Jessie was born April 18, 1912, in Ava, MO, to Scott and Melissa Hatfield Trail. She married James Wilson Page, Jr. on March 4, 1934, in DeKalb, MO; and was a homemaker. Jessie was a member of the Wallace Christian Church. She lived for many years in Iatan, MO until her later years, when she moved to her daughter Vivian's home, in Atchison.
She is survived by her son Raymond (Marilyn) Page of Parkville, MO; her daughter, Vivian Ruark, of Atchison, KS; her sisters, Lucille Fortune of Dutham, AL, and Irene Lamar of Indiana; twelve grandchildren; twenty one great grandchildren; and thirty one great, great grandchildren.
Jessie was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James; one son, James Edward Page; her brothers, Russell, Clarence, Howard, and Hank Trail; and two sisters, Nellie Amos, and Peggy Kessler.
A visitation will be at 10 a.m., Monday, June 14, 2010 at Vaughn Funeral Home, Weston, MO, followed by an 11 a.m., funeral service, at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Judy Cemetery, near Wallace, MO. The family suggests contributions be given to Vaughn Funeral Home, P.O. Box 145, Weston, Mo. 64098, to help toward funeral expenses.
