Catherine (Kate) was the daugher of Johann (John) and Susana Redlinger Offermann. She was a lady of pleasing personality and endeared herself to scores of friends. She was ever devoted to her mother, her thoughts always being centered in the welfare of her aged parent. A staunch Catholic, she lived strictly in adherence of the teachings of her faith, and passed away well prepared to meet her Maker. She was always kind, performing many deeds of kindness and charity unknown to anyone. She will always be cherished by those who had the pleasure of knowing her. She died at the home of her sister Mary (Christoper Klein) of Milwaukee. Her other siblings were Elizabeth (Eugene Shaw), Nicholas, John, Henry and Susanna. She is buried at Holy Trinity cemetery in Luxemburg, Iowa.
