Early in 1866 she was united in marriage to Burgess Farnsworth at Bloomfield ,IA and to this union five children were born, Harriet Elizabeth, of Mansfield Okla, John of Ottumwa, India Anna of Numa,IA, Ross of Denver, Co., and Emmazetta, who passed away in 1911.
On January 28, 1885, she was again united in marriage to John D. Collins of West Grove, IA. To this union five children were born , Pearlie, who died January 12th 1912, Joseph C. who died Januay 1919, William who died in infancy, Lulu who died in 1918, and Elmer who resides in Des Moines.
Those left to mourn her loss besides those mentioned, are the husband, several grandchildren, and one grandson, Farris Southern who has mad his home with grandmother.
She was converted in early girlhood and joined with the United Brethren Church at Bloomfield, Iowa, and many times during her last illness expressed her willingness to go, and assured her many fiends that all was well with her soul.
Funeral services were conducted Sunday afternoon at 1: O'Clock at the home in Bussey by Rev. B.H. Finch. Burial in Greenlawn Cemetery.
She was also married for a short time to Chris Myers the father of Pearl, who went by the name of Collins.
