Mrs. Adams was a homemaker.
Family members include a son and daughter-in-law, John D. and Carole A. Adams of Deerfield; three daughters and a son-in-law, Sallie A. and Ray Edwards of High Point, N.C., Joan Adams Olmstead of Waynesboro and Kitty Echols of Charlottesville; a brother, the honorable Judge Harrison May of Staunton; a sister, Eugenia May of Wisconsin; seven grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
Interment will be private in Thornrose Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 16, 2010, at Henry Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to a charity of your choice.
