Robert Bruce Trentham was born in Wears Valley, Tn. He served in the United States Army from 1945 through 1948. He almost made the rank of Staff Sergeant before he was discharged from his duties. He married Betty Ruth Trentham 9 June 1951 in Newport, Cocke Co., Tn. He was a farmer, truck driver, fisherman and sportsman. He worked for the aluminum plant in Alcoa for at least 35 years before he retired. He has a son and a daughter. He died at Fort Sanders Hospital in Knoxville from a massive stroke at the age of sixty-five.
