Dillon - Mrs. Alberta McDaniel Horne, 55 wife of Leonard Horne Sr., died Friday in a Charlotte, N.C., hospital.
The funeral will be 3 p.m. Sunday at Mount Calvary Baptist Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery, directed by Colonial Funeral Home.
Mrs. Horne was born in Dillon County, a daughter of Mrs. Tulah Humphrey McDaniel and the late W.R. McDaniel. She was a member of Mount Calvary Baptist Church.
Surviving, in addition to her mother of Hamer and her husband Leonard of Charlotte, N.C. are: six sons, Jerry Horne, Michael Horne, Leonard Horne, Jr., James Horne and Douglas Horne, all of Charlotte, Leroy Horne of New York; four daughters, Mrs. Ruth Norris and Miss Sherry Lee Horne, both of Charlotte, Mrs. Frances Bullard of Marion, Mrs. Mary Ann Totherow of Fort Mill; two sisters, Mrs. Catherine Woodle and Mrs. Sadie Hinson, both of Dillon; nine grandchildren.
