84, of Terra Alta, passed away Saturday December 14, 2013 at Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, WV. The daughter of the late Hoy Aubrey and Sarah Irene Beulah Wiemer Bishop, she was born June 5, 1929 in Albright. Helen is survived by three sons; Hugh M. Wiles, Hoy C. Wiles and friend Kathy Mace; Harold C. Wiles, who is deaf; two daughters and spouses, Harriet M. and Charles E McCray I and Helena M. and Todd Slaubaugh, all of Terra Alta; three sisters, Dorothy Riley of Arthurdale, Beulah Day of Kingwood and Sarah Mae Taylor of Utah; 9 grandchildren Robert Wiles and spouse Kim, Timothy Wiles and spouse Nicole, Charlotte Wiles, Jammie Whetsell and spouse Kimberly, Charles McCray II, Keryssa, Katelyn, Kyla and Keri Slaubaugh; three step grandchildren, Jeff Kelly, Clifford Kelly and spouse Amy and Gina Welsh and spouse, Marcus; 12 great grandchildren and 7 step great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and many friends and her beloved dog "Bear". A special thanks to Cheryl Frantz who was a long time family friend and home care assistant for the past two years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Myron Wiles, her oldest child, Hope Ann Wiles; grandson, Jason Scot Wiles; two sisters, Ora Pope and Agnes Woolwine; and one brother. Family and friends will be received at the Arthur H. Wright Funeral Home, Terra Alta on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 and from 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 18, 2013 until the time of service with Pastors Donnie Savage, Paul and Cathy Snyder officiating. Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery.
