Rites Held Friday For Mrs. Rose Wacek

Funeral services were held Friday morning at 9 o'clock at St. Aloysius church for Mrs. Rose Wacek, 79 who died Nov. 13 at the Renville County hospital, following an illness of three years.

Fr. James Barry officiated and burial was at the Olivia cemetery. Pallbearers were Gary, Lane, Dennis, Kenneth and Richard Wacek and John Ourada.

Mrs. Rose Wacek was born June 3, 1883 in Henryville township near Bechyn. She was married to Peter Wacek at Bechyn Feb. 3, 1914. They lived on a farm south of Olivia for many years. Her husband died March 19, 1932. During the past ten years, she lived with her children. She was a member of the Bohemian Rosary Society.

Deceased is survived by three sons, Edward and Peter of Olivia; and Henry of Bechyn; twin daughters, Mrs. Frank (Marcella) Ourada of Lucan and Mrs. Clarence (Marie) Stowers of San Diego, Calif.; 27 grandchildren and two great grandchildren; one brother, Joseph Moudry and one sister, Mrs. John Honzay, Sr. of Olivia.
