Frances Herron Dailey, 79, retired teacher, of Ripley, died Tuesday, Dec. 4, at her residence. Services will be at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 5, at First United Methodist Church with burial in Maplewood Cemetery. Ms. Dailey was a member of the Retired Teachers Association, First United Methodist Church, and United Methodist Women. The widow of John W, Dailey, she leaves a daughter, Melissa Glenn of Ripley; two sons, Tom Dailey of Ripley and John Dailey of Memphis; a sister, Joyce Higgs of Jackson, Tenn.; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Memorials may be sent to the First United Methodist Church in Ripley or the American Cancer Society.
