Margaret Carruthers was born in the state of Ohio in Harrison county, August 2d, 1816. In the year 1843, on the 13th day of April, she was married to John Cramer of Richland county, Ohio. In 1852 they came to Sauk county where she lived until the time of her death, which occurred at her home in the town of Franklin on the 6th day of February 1899, at the age of 82 years, 6 months and 4 days. She was a member of the M.E. church for over 40 years.
Mr. Sol K. Cramer, whose mother died at Plain on the 5th inst., and whose baby daughter died on the day following, has been confined to his bed for several weeks with inflammatory rheumatism.
