He married Phebe Capps ( daughter of Thomas Capps) Sept. 4, 1798 in Madison Co.,Kentucky and they had 8 children; Polly Ann Quick Quick, Sally Quick Logan, Martha "Patsy" Quick Groom, William "David" Aaron Quick, Jacob Benton Quick III, Sampson Quick, Margaret "Peggy" Quick Davis Groom and Elizabeth Quick. He died in Rhineland, Montgomery Co.,MO
