Mr. Hopkins had served with the American forces in France during the world war, and for the past two years had owned and operated a garage in Springdale.
Surviving him are: Mrs. Hopkins, his wife; two children, Donald Edward, 6, and Betty Lucille, 3. Also surviving are his father, Thomas A. Hopkins, Waverly, and two brothers, Miram E., of Beverly, Ohio, and Emmett R., of Parkersburg; three sisters, Mrs. Estella Brandon, of Parkersburg; Mrs. Mabel Merrill, of Creston, and Mrs. Glenna Turner, of Farmington; four half- brothers, Derwood of Charleston; Roscoe of Parkersburg; Rolla and Billie, of Waverly; two half-sisters, Erma and Anna Hopkins, of Parkersburg.
