REDMOND, Sevier County – Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 2 p.m. in the Redmond chapel, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, by Lamar Bosshardt, bishop, for Murrell Anderw Anderson, 52, who died Thursday at 10 a.m. in his home here of a heart ailment.

Born June 26, 1898 in Redmond, he was a son of Andrew P. and Emelia Larsen Anderson. He married Vera Strange in Richfield, March 5, 1920. The marriage later was solemnized in the Manti L D S temple.

He spent most of his life in Redmond, where he was senior member of Murrell Anderson and Sons sand and gravel business. He also held responsible offices on irrigation and civic committees. He was interested in farming and stock raising.

Surviving are his widow, two daughters and three sons; Mrs. Frank (Maxine) Thomas, San Pedro, Cal.; Othello Anderson, Magna; Jack Anderson, Axtell; Marvell and Shana Rae Anderson, Redmond; six grandchildren; also the following brothers and sisters, Mrs. W. C. Perry, Nevada City, Cal., Mrs. Bladen Christensen, Fair Oaks, Cal.; Linden L. Anderson, Forrest Hills, Cal.; Ernest Anderson, Salina; Mrs. Austin Mason, Aurora; Mrs. Oluf Anderson, Mrs. W. B. Allred, and Mrs. Albert Polson, Redmond.

Friends may call at the family home Sunday evening and Monday prior to services. Burial in the Redmond cemetery will be directed by the Peterson mortuary, Salina.
