Sarah Jane Akers was born in Fulton county, Pa., March 9th, 1836, and died at her home in Conrad, May 4, 1904, aged sixty-eight years, one month and twenty five days.

On January 10, 1861, she was married to Mr. N.D. Frazey and the same year they moved to Illinois, where they lived until 1868 when they moved to Iowa and settled in Grundy county, where for all these years she has made her home.
