Born in Puerto Rico, he had lived in Mount Laurel for the past 10 years, moving there from Cinnaminson.
Arnaldo was a self-employed jeweler for the past 15 years. Previous to this, he was a designer for D. Seidmann & Sons in Philadelphia.
He was an ordained Deacon for the Christ the Redeemer Church in Mount Holly, and was active in Marriage Encounter and Cursillos Retreats. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, 3rd degree, with Council 7814.
He was a veteran of the Korean war, serving in the U.S. Army.
He was the beloved husband of Juanita (Nieves) Vilches of Mount Laurel; the loving father of Ivonne Dyson and her husband, Samuel of Westampton, and Arnaldo Vilches Jr. and his wife, Holly of San Diego, Calif. He also is survived by his sister, Ada Vilches of Puerto Rico; and his grandchildren, Ilana Preston and her husband, Gabriel, Adam Dyson and his wife, Kathryn, Tim Dyson and Sarah Dyson; and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing from 9 to 10 a.m. Thursday at Christ the Redeemer Church, 115 South Ave., Mount Holly, NJ 08060, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in the Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery in North Hanover Township.
In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, the family would appreciate memorial donations to Christ the Redeemer Church at the above address.
