The Williams County, Ohio, native had also worked with Allen County DFC as social worker for 14 years and also worked as an elementary school teacher. She was a member of XYZ Club, Fort Wayne Woman's Club, three social bridge groups and various square dance clubs.
Surviving are a daughter, Sharon Davis of New Haven; a granddaughter, Penny Lee of Greenwood; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph J.
Services are 2 p.m. Saturday at D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Ave., with calling one hour before services. Burial will be at Concordia Cemetery Gardens.
