St Michael' church in Wentworth was the scene of a pretty wedding Tuesday morning when Miss Clara Mae Kutz of near Wentworth became the bride of Mr. Leo Landoll. The ceremony was performed at 7:30 o'clock nuptial mass celebrated by the pastor, Rev, Father Schillng. Miss Agnes Sweeney of Wentworth, attended the bride, and Ben Kutz, brother of the bride, was best man. The bride's dress was of beige georgette with accessories to correspond. Her bouquet was of orchid sweat peas and snap dragons. Miss Sweeney's dress was of pastel flowered georgette.. The church was beautifully decorated with syringa roses and ferns.
Following the ceremony a wedding breakfast was served at he home of the bride's parents to members of the bridal party and the Rev. Father Schilling. Mr. and Mrs. Landoll left immediately for a wedding trip to parts of western Kansas.
The bride is the only daughter of Mr. and Mrs, J.J. Kutz of near Wentworth, where she was born and reared. She received her education in the Wentworth and the Pierce City high School, graduating from the latter with the class of '27. the past two years she has been a teacher of the Oak Grove school north of Pierce City. She is a very accomplished young woman.
Mr Landoll is the youngest son son of Mr. and Mrs. Adam Landoll, north of Pierce City where he has lived his lifetime. He is a splendid young man with a promising future. Mr. and Mrs. Landoll will make their home on the Landoll farm north of Pierce City.
