Edwin Andres had one sister Ida Andres when he died four miles northwest of Stamford of inflammation complicated by hot weather and diet. Some residents of the Sagerton community say this family was traveling through the area when their child died and received permission to bury the child on this farm. However, based on census records Otto Andres may have been trying to farm in the Sagerton area. They lived on Carter road in Haskell County in 1910. The Andres family came from Williamson County, Texas prior to 1907 and moved back prior to 1920.
