Elizabeth Gillispie
ABERDEEN - Elizabeth Gillispie, 107, died Tuesday, April 12, 2005, at the North Mississippi Medical Center. She was born March 20, 1898, in Chickasaw County to the late Steve and Mary Lou Cunningham. She was a devoted member of Zion Springs Missionary Baptist Church until her health failed.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Zion Springs Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Nollen Elzie officiating. Burial will be in Zion Springs Cemetery. Jackson Mortuary.
Survivors include two sisters, Annie Neely of Aberdeen and Amanda Heard of Detroit, Mich.; a sister-in-law, Beatrice Cunningham of St. Louis, Mo.; a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her daughter, Mary Gillispie; and five brothers and seven sisters.
Visitation will be from noon to 6 p.m. Saturday.
