Joe Ensley of Grand Prairie went to be with the Lord on June 24th at the age of 89. Chapel service at 9:30 am on June 30th at Bean Massey Burge Funeral Home in Grand Prairie, TX with burial following at the National Cemetery in Dallas.

He was born August 23, 1920 in Altoga, TX and grew up in Hunt County, TX. Joe served in World War II in Italy with the United States Army, Company A 805th Tank Destroyer Battalion. He received a Purple Heart and various service awards.

He married Margaret Ozell Beasley on April 20, 1946 and they enjoyed over 64 years of love and devotion to one another. The things he held dear to his heart were: God, his country, his family, playing various musical instruments and reading the bible.

Survived by his beloved wife, Margaret Ozell, a daughter and two sons. Seven grand children and four great grandchildren. Also survived by his sister Billie Faye. Preceded in death by his parents Herbert and Ethel Ensley, brothers Ollin Ensley, Ronald Ensley, Norman Ensely and sisters Ola Mae Rudder and Inez Tarrant and his granddaughter Rhonda Jo Hunter.
