Obituary of Mariah Hadlock
Died in her home 4 1/2 miles S.W. Bolivar. Mrs. Mariah Hadlock wife of late Green Hadlock, age 68 years 8 months 25 days, she was born in Woodford County, Ill., March 22, 1835, Died December 17, 1903, she was a patient suffer through all her illness, which was about 4 months. The cause being Gall Stones located in Gall Bladder for medical aid could not reach. She was an observer of the Golden Rule Do unto others as you would do unto you. The Deceased was not a member of any Church. She leaves 2 sons, 3 Daughters, 3 sisters and many friends to morn her loss. Remains were laid away in the family burying ground, where she will be sweetly rest for ever.

Mrs Green Hadlock died at her home near Hadlock Springs last Thursday Morning after a lingering illness. The body was buried Friday Morning. O.D. Gunn and wife attended the funeral. Will Gunn and family came in from the west, Monday. Mr. Gunn is the son of O.D. Gunn, and will live on his fathers farm South of Celeco. We extend a cordial welcome to this family who will be acquisition.
