Delia lived in Herkimer County since 1838.

She was counted in the census between 1860-Feb 1892 in Herkimer, Herkimer County, New York. The New York State Census of June 1865 showed Delia to be an owner of land. The June 1875 NY State Census also noted that she owned land. In the 1865 census it stated that Delia was the mother of 6 children.

Delia resided in her daughter Mary Elizabeth Hall's household in June 1880.

Delia resided in her son George's household in Feb. 1892. Delia is also shown to reside in the household of her daughter Mary in Feb. 1892.

She died at home on Creek Road, Herkimer, Herkimer County, New York.

Surviving Delia were her children: Policeman George W. Hilts, Mrs. [Julia] Armstrong Dockstader, Mrs. [Lucy A.]Benjamin Petrie and Mrs. [Mary Elizabeth "Libby"] Arthur Hall. Also surviving were her brother Leonard W. Baldwin and sister, Eliza Benjamin of Oakville, NY.
