He married Lucinda Amanda Heidelbaugh November 12, 1863, in York, and fathered Wilson A. (b. 12/02/64), Annie K. (b. 06/30/67 - married Eli Albert Arnold), John (b. 01/15/71), Sarah Janette (b. 12/23/73), Harry E. (b. 04/07/77), and Rufus A. (b. 04/07/77 [?]). In 1870, lived in Hopewell Township, York County, and in 1880, in York Borough where he died.
