Besides her sorrowing husband and daughter she leaves to mourn, an aged father James Diamond of Darlington, three sisters, Mrs. Dan Deery, Kendall, Annie, Darlington, and Mrs. Charles McKeon, Platteville, with two brothers, Patrick and James Diamond, Kendall. Her mother Mrs. Mary Diamond preceded her in death sixteen years ago.
Mrs. Diamond was a most devout Catholic, never failing to do her duties toward the church. She was a patient sufferer, not being in good health for a number of years, but for the last two weeks became (anemic) and gradually grew weaker until death called her early Sunday morning.
The funeral was held from her home in Platteville to Saint Mary's church. Burial was made in the family lot at Kendall. The pall bearers were Irenus Doyle, Mike Donahoe, Leo McGowan, Henry Hying, James Durken and Robert Hayden.

Platteville- Funeral services were held Wednesday at St. Mary's church, the Rev. F.X. Gray officiating for Mrs. John Donohue, who died at her home Sunday after a long illness. Burial was in the cemetery at Truman, in Lafayette county, her childhood home. Surviving is the husband and a daughter, Mrs. Margaret Sherwin, Platteville.
