Surviving are his wife, Lela; one daughter, Jane Ackerman of Beardstown; four brothers, Floyd of Beardstown, John of Fort Myers, Fla., Al of Jacksonville and Bill of Omaha, Neb.; and one sister, Helen Gifford of Springfield.
