Victor D. Warner, 90, of 8575 Sherman-Findley Lake Road, Sherman, N.Y., passed away at 10:05 p.m. Monday, May 10, 2010, at Absolut Westfield, N.Y.
He was born on July 3, 1919, in North East, Pa., the son of the late Clarence and Mina (Himbaugh) Warner.
Victor had worked at Reeds Sale Stable and for Weise's Garage, driving truck. He was a member of the Sherman Community Church.
He enjoyed, bowling, golfing, bingo, and scratch off lottery tickets. He also enjoyed making wood crafts and really enjoyed his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was a beloved and dedicated husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.
Victor is survived by two sons: Daniel Warner of Sherman, N.Y. and Roger Warner of Clymer, N.Y.; daughter Eleanor Auge of Sherman of N.Y.; 16 gandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren; six step-grandchildren and six step-great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Bernice M. Warner on November 29, 2004, whom he married August 11, 1935; daughter, Debra E. Rich, son, David Warner; four brothers: Ivan, LaVerne, Kenneth and Lyle Warner; and three sisters: Marjorie Miller, Luella Kuenen and Mildred Stewart.
