Elizabeth 'Liz' (Soucek) Garofalo, 93, of Coraopolis, and growing up in Groveton, died Thurs., July 1, 2010 at Sewickley Valley Hospital. She was born in Coraopolis July 31, 1916, 1 of 6 children to Frank & Mary (Bartok) Soucek. Predeceased by husband of 22 yrs, Sam Garofalo. Mother of Josephine 'Jo' Garofalo (Jack Riehle), Cincinnati, OH and Margie (Robert) Kleindienst, Coraopolis; grandmother of Morgan Kleindienst; sister of Rose Parrish, Aliquippa and the late Mary Castellan, Helen Dregallo, Bessie Monyak and Frank Soucek. From 1975 to 1996, she worked at the Ramada Inn and will be remembered for her culinary skills. Copeland's, Coraopolis. Burial, Resurrection Cemetery.
